How SmartReturner may be funded
SmartReturner is an independently published Australian consumer information website. We plan to fund ongoing content and site maintenance through display advertising and may use affiliate links in the future. These are planned arrangements; this page does not claim that Google AdSense or any affiliate programme has already been activated.
Google AdSense — planned
We intend to apply for Google AdSense. If approved and enabled, Google may place ads alongside eligible pages, and SmartReturner may earn advertising revenue under the applicable programme arrangements. An advertisement should not be understood as our endorsement, testing or recommendation of the advertised product or service.
Affiliate links — planned
If we later participate in affiliate programmes, some links may allow us to receive compensation when a reader completes a qualifying action on a third-party website. We will make relevant commercial relationships clear in or near affected articles and links, not rely only on this general page. A commission does not make SmartReturner the seller or provider of a third-party product or subscription.
Independence and sponsored content
We aim to distinguish facts drawn from official return or cancellation policies from our general explanations. Payment or an affiliate arrangement does not change the policy of the business discussed. We do not present paid promotional material as independently researched editorial content. If we publish sponsored material or receive material benefits relevant to a post, we will disclose that relationship clearly.
Check the provider’s current terms
Retailers and services control their own prices, eligibility requirements, return procedures, refunds, subscriptions and customer support. Read the current official terms before making a purchase, requesting a refund or cancelling a service. SmartReturner does not fulfil orders or process payments or refunds for third parties.
Advertising privacy
Advertising and affiliate technologies may use cookies and similar identifiers once enabled. Our Privacy & Cookies Policy explains the technologies planned or in use and available choices. We will review those disclosures when we activate a new commercial service.
